Mother and Father of the Bride

Tonight we had a movie night with my daughter and her fiance'. We watched the updated version of Father of the Bride.  Steve Martin depicts every sentiment, feeling & thought that my husband is going through. We loved the movie when it first came out, and now it held a great deal of significance.  It was a joy to watch the show with the soon-to-be bride and groom, such a blessing to share all the laughter, and to even relieve a bit of the stress, with the wedding a mere week away. As they get in touch with their own thoughts and feelings, I pray that they are sensitive to how we, as their parents, are also shifting our paradigms.
