Once a year, I have the awesome blessing to share a weekend with some of my favorite friends, who, being like minded, are dedicated to seeking God. We dedicate this time away from work, home, kids and husbands to learn more about each other and to focus on our God. Our 10th annual women's retreat is coming in just 12 days! I love celebrating and sharing this time with this group of women in this very special way. Although God's theme is usually revealed at the end of the retreat, I can't help but notice that God is directing us to restoration, revival, rejuvination and the recapturing of ourselves for His purposes. He will reveal himself, and His purpose all in good time, I know.
Father, God, I ask you to continue to prepare our hearts and minds for all that you have in store for us on our retreat weekend. May this time together bring a revelation for each woman individually and have a significant impact on us as a group. We dedicate this time to you, Lord. Make the way clear as we work towards settting aside this time to be with each other and with You. Amen.
