considering Thanksgiving...

The Baking Bonanza!

Today, one of my favorite kind of days.
On again, off again rain, clouds and dark skies. Some
smattering of sunshine, but a day to stay inside.
The plan was to bake until the sun went down, in preparation
for the onslaught of company for the Thanksgiving holiday.
OMG...what a day!
a Kahlua Cake
Double layer Pumpkin Pie
Tollhouse Pie (a gift for Ben)
Tipsy Chocolate Pecan Pie
and Apple Cheesecake.
Then a batch of fudge (usually reserved for Christmas)
a pot of chicken soup and artichoke dip as well as some bacon crumbles for dinner
tomorrow.
Anyone hungry?

Today, I am choosing to move along.
I still carry the hurt, but the pain will not keep me from being what and who
I need to be.  Thank You for the courage, Lord. Continue to guide my steps.
I give the baggage to you to carry.  Do with it as you please.

Remind me whenever I question the situation that it's about L*O*V*E.

Maybe, Baby

Isaiah has triumphantly entered the world!
He was born on November 3, 2010 and 3:58AM. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 19 inches long.  His APGAR score was 10 and he only held mom in active labor for about 3 hours!  Mom did a great job!  Dad is still in shock.  Neither can believe that this new life is a reality.  He is perfect.  He is beautiful.  After 9 months of dreaming, planning, thinking, considering, creating, hoping and praying~ he is here. Will he make a difference?  God, please.
